Relief Veterinary Services: traveling throughout the state of Wisconsin and North Carolina

1) Home Euthanasia & Cremation Services and Quality of Life Exams

  • See home euthanasia section


2) Hospice Care

  • Education of end-of-stage support and diseases
  • Medication administration (Oral, IV, under skin (SQ))
  • Fluid administration (IV, SQ)
  • Nutritional support and administration
  • Examinations and pain recognition and treatment
  • Assistance with bathing and cleansing of pet
  • Other recommendations and treatments


3) Wellness Exams and Routine Care: puppy, kitten, adult, senior. What's included?

  • A complete comprehensive exam that includes:
    • One free dosage of a broad-spectrum dewormer - annual exams only
    • Eye exam (eyes may be dilated if needed to allow for complete visualization of the optic nerve and retina)
    • Ear exam (includes both ears being examined with an otoscope to allow for visualization of the ear canal and ear drum)
    • Complete neurologic exam
    • Complete orthopedic and musculoskeletal exam
    • Skin exam (includes flea comb evaluation; tick removal)
    • Rectal exam (dogs only, depending upon your pet's tolerance)

5) Lab Testing 

  • Heartworm and tick-borne disease testing
  • Routine blood and urine screening (CBC/CHEM25/UA/SDMA)
  • Fecal Exams
  • Cytology (ear, skin, mass, etc.)
  • Cultures
  • Several other lab tests (ie. fructosamine levels, low dose dexamethasone test, spot glucose, and more)

  • Online pharmacy for prescriptions and preventative care products
  • Prescription food
  • Routine deworming
  • Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention

12) Traveling Relief Veterinary Services throughout the state of Wisconsin and North Carolina


Please note - the extent to each part of the exam is dependent upon cooperation and tolerance of your pet and for some procedures to be performed, the veterinarian will need your assistance in holding your pet, however, a certified veterinary technician can be scheduled in advanced to assist Dr. Ashley during your appointment.


We are UNABLE to perform x-rays, surgery, dental cleanings, and procedures that require anesthesia. These services will be referred to a local veterinary clinic.


**WE ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND TO THE FOLLOWING -  EMERGENCIES**

- Trauma (ie. Hit by Car)

- Broken Leg

- Sudden Projectile Vomiting

- Sudden Severe Illness

- Toxin Ingestion

- Unable to Breathe / Choking

- Sudden Collapse / Unconsciousness

- Sudden Bloating

- Cat Straining to Urinate or Unable to Urinate
